President Lee Jae-myung and his wife share Chuseok greetings via YouTube

President Lee Jae-myung delivered Chuseok holiday greetings to the people alongside First Lady Kim Hye-kyung through a YouTube video released on the 25th (local time) while on a state visit to Mexico.

"Chuseok is a time when we can see the same full moon no matter where we are in the world," the president began in the video released by the presidential office. "After a summer made especially grueling by unprecedented heat, we find ourselves at Chuseok, when the harvest of grains and fruits has ripened," he said, adding, "I extend my deep gratitude and respect to our citizens who quietly live out each day in their own places."

Mentioning soldiers, police officers, firefighters, medical workers, and overseas Koreans, the president emphasized, "Although we each live in different places, do different work, and have walked different paths, our love for our country remains one." He went on to say, "As president, I am truly grateful and honored to be together with our great 'Korean people' who have built the Korea of today and are opening the path to tomorrow."
