Public Data Report for November 6: 175 Companies' Activities at a Glance
The Activities of 175 Companies Come Together in Public Data
A total of 150 public data disclosures listed 175 companies. From government procurement contracts to job postings and crowdfunding results, the real movements of small and medium-sized enterprises can be seen at a glance. Public data refers to information collected by the government and public institutions and made available to citizens, and this compilation is significant in that it simultaneously presents multiple indicators for gauging a company's health.
In the procurement sector, region-based specialized service firms — spanning environmental management, forest development, architectural design, geospatial information, and safety technology — were found to have widely entered the public market. Representative examples include Daehun Environment, Daegyeong Forest Development, Geumgang Geospatial Information Co., and Hyuksin Safety Technology Co. Financial-sector companies such as KyoBo Life Planet Insurance also appeared among procurement participants. Public procurement is regarded as a solid growth foothold for small and medium-sized enterprises, as it secures stable revenue over a set period.
The Hiring Market Spans Manufacturing and Digital Sectors
Job postings reveal the temperature of an industry firsthand. Renew People Co. simultaneously opened multiple positions, including a global game GM, a research institute head, a team leader for overseas sales of automotive/defense PCBs, and an expatriate manager at a Vietnamese production plant. It can be interpreted that the company's expansion drive — broadening its business from gaming to defense and overseas production — is being carried through in its hiring.
Hiring in the chemical materials field also stands out. Raon Search Co. recruited an experienced EHS professional for an advanced chemicals manufacturer, and Baekground Co. sought quality control staff for a group-affiliated chemical materials company. This signals that manufacturing is reshaping its talent demand around safety and quality. Continued administrative and instructor hiring in the education and academy sector, and Uzfit's Changwon branch seeking freelance trainers, show that service-sector employment is also being steadily maintained.
Crowdfunding Led by Products That Have Passed Consumer Validation
On crowdfunding platforms such as Wadiz, a wide range of projects — from food and household goods to AI tools — received backing. The food category performed especially well. A fruit-focused project raised more than 15.7 million won, while a charcuterie (processed meat products) project raised funds upon its initial launch.
Household goods also showed strength. An anti-theft travel sling bag secured about 2.92 million won, and the Tenhead massager raised about 1.54 million won. Software projects — including an AI-based short-form video production tool and a no-code service building tool for non-developers — also succeeded in fundraising, demonstrating that digital demand is spreading all the way to the consumer market. Crowdfunding is a channel for checking in advance, through consumers' wallets, whether a prototype can survive in the market. Even if individual funding amounts vary, the very fact that backing was achieved is interpreted as meaning the product has passed demand validation.
Regulatory Risk as a Management Task; Outlook Cautiously Optimistic
Records related to Fair Trade Commission sanctions and misconduct issues were also compiled. Sanctioned companies accounted for only a tiny fraction of the total. However, in the public procurement and crowdfunding markets — where external trust translates directly into deal terms — compliance management is expected to become a mandatory task rather than an option. This is because consumers, as well as buyers and investors, increasingly verify companies through data.
In sum, the 175 companies are actively moving along three fronts: entering the public market, securing talent, and direct transactions with consumers. As Benjamin Disraeli said, happiness does not come without action — likewise, corporate growth stems from practices that leave traces in the data. The triple simultaneous expansion across procurement, hiring, and funding is expected to continue for some time, and the ability to read public data is anticipated to become a practical weapon for both investors and consumers.
