Police Investigate Allegations of Officer Assaulting Informant and Improper Sale of Village Property

Police have launched an investigation into allegations that a police officer assaulted an informant and sold off community property belonging to a village for less than its market value.

The allegations, received through a tip on the night of May 10th, claim the officer involved not only assaulted the informant but also failed to reflect the surrounding market prices during the sale of village land and buildings under his management.

The property in question was community-owned village property, and it appears the sale did not adequately reflect its market value.
