Democratic Party Rallies All-Out on Final Campaign Day
The Democratic Party launched a final, all-out effort on June 2, the last day of the official campaign for the 6/3 local elections, to win over undecided voters.
Jung Chung-rae, the General Campaign Committee Chairman, concluded his campaign activities at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul. Han Byung-do, Co-Chair of the Campaign Committee, accompanied Jeonbuk gubernatorial candidate Lee Won-taek, conducting intensive rallies in the Jeonbuk region.
Jang Dong-hyuk, Standing Campaign Committee Chairman for the People Power Party, held a public appeal at the party's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, urging citizens to participate in the vote.
Both ruling and opposition parties continued their final rallies in major battleground areas across the country until midnight, the official end of the campaign period.
