Pakistan PM Expects US-Iran Peace Deal Within 24 Hours

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that peace negotiations between the United States and Iran would be finalized within 24 hours. He stated via the social media platform X, "We are closer to a peace agreement than ever before," adding that preparations are underway to hold working-level talks next week. Sharif expressed gratitude for the continuous efforts shown by the US and Iran in the negotiation process, as well as the support from regional brotherly nations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on the 12th that the agreement with the United States had entered its final stages and received approval from the leadership.

The funeral ceremony for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, former Supreme Leader of Iran, is scheduled to begin on the 4th of next month. This agreement could contribute to easing regional tensions ahead of the commencement of the funeral proceedings.
