Senior advisor Park Jie-won described the Democratic Party's situation as 'escalating from finger-pointing to fist-fighting,' urging lawmaker Jung Chung-rai to withdraw from the party's leadership race. Park stated that while there were no legal issues with Jung's re-candidacy for the national convention, the outcome would be determined by the people and party members.

Park expressed concern over the current situation, saying, 'If finger-pointing isn't enough and now it's turning into fist-fighting, what will happen to the country if they start swinging clubs soon?' He noted that conflicts could erupt over the composition of the convention preparation committee or issues guaranteeing neutrality. Park reiterated his description of the Democratic Party's situation as 'finger-pointing now turning into fist-fighting,' adding, 'Then someone's nose will get bloodied. Whose nose? The people's noses will get bloodied,' he analogized.
