Presidential Approval at 58% (+1%p)

According to poll results released by NBS on July 2, 2026, positive approval ratings for the incumbent president's job performance stood at 58%. Negative ratings were recorded at 35%.

In party support polls, the Democratic Party of Korea garnered 42% support. The People Power Party's approval rating stood at 20%.

Presidential Job Performance Trend

In the previous survey on June 11, 2026, the president's job performance received a 57% positive rating. This figure rose to 58% in the latest poll, an increase of 1 percentage point. Over the same period, negative ratings increased by 2 percentage points, from 33% to 35%.

Compared to an earlier survey on May 21, 2026, positive ratings had dropped by 8 percentage points from 66% to 58%, while negative ratings had risen by 11 percentage points from 24% to 35%.

Party Support Trend

The Democratic Party of Korea's support rating was 41% in the June 11, 2026 survey. In the current poll, it rose to 42%, a 1 percentage point increase. In the May 21, 2026 survey, the party recorded a support rating of 45%.

The People Power Party's support rating was 25% in the June 11, 2026 survey, but it fell to 20% in the current poll, a decrease of 5 percentage points. This is the same figure recorded in the May 21, 2026 survey.

Negative evaluations have shown an upward trend for three consecutive surveys, with the most recent fluctuation being 11 percentage points.
