김대중 교육감 예비후보, 장애학생 자립 지원 공약 발표
김대중 전남·광주 통합 교육감 예비후보가 20일 장애인의 날을 맞아 장애학생의 자립과 사회 참여를 연계한 특수교육 공약을 발표했다.
'장미꿈 프로젝트'를 통한 진로 역량 개발 지원, 글로벌 특수교육 프로그램 도입 검토, 진로·취업 원스톱 지원 체계 마련, 자립생활 및 사회적응 프로그램 운영 등이 구상된다.
김 예비후보는 "교육은 복지가 아닌 권리"라며 "장애학생이 지역사회 구성원으로 자립할 수 있도록 전 과정에서 책임지는 교육 체계를 만들겠다"고 밝혔다.
