Lee Jun-seok Proposes New Growth Model for AI Era

Reform Party lawmaker Lee Jun-seok stressed the need for South Korea to build a new growth model that goes beyond simply pursuing technology, in an era of AI transformation, and promised institutional support at the National Assembly level.

In a video congratulatory address at the Future Growth Forum commemorating the 16th anniversary of JoongAng Economy News, Rep. Lee Jun-seok mentioned the numerous challenges ahead, such as low birth rates and aging populations, global supply chain realignments, and US-China technological hegemony competition, stating, 'The environment surrounding South Korea is far from easy.'
