More than 7 out of 10 US voters (73%) evaluate the current economic situation negatively. 60% of respondents felt their personal financial situation was also not good, and 70% replied that the economy is worsening. Within the Republican party, more than half responded that economic conditions (56%) and personal finances (52%) are not good.

Evaluations of former President Donald Trump's economic policies are also mixed. 56% of all voters responded that his policies are harmful to the economy, while 28% said they are helpful. Republican supporters viewed his policies as helpful, with the figure reaching 70% among MAGA Republicans.

Cost-of-living concerns remain a significant issue. 62% of voters cited grocery prices as a 'major' problem for their families, while gas prices (60%), healthcare costs (55%), and housing costs (52%) were also identified as major issues.

In issue-specific party preference polls, Republicans hold an advantage in border security, crime, immigration, and national security. Conversely, Democrats show strength in climate change, healthcare, abortion, transgender issues, inflation, and foreign policy. Neither party showed a clear advantage in economic matters.

In general preference polls for party candidates, 57% of independent voters indicated support for Democratic candidates, while Republican candidates received 41%.
