Kim argued that suspicions of illegal election practices that undermined Jeju democracy must be rooted out, stating that the current search and seizure should serve as a starting point for uncovering substantive truth.

He expressed that it is difficult for residents to understand the delay in the search and seizure, given that swiftness is crucial in election-related crimes, and demanded a clear explanation from the police agency regarding the reasons for the investigation's delay.
