Incheon Mayoral Race: Park Chan-dae Pledges W240 Billion Supplementary Budget, Yoo Jeong-bok Focuses on Election Committee Appointments

Democratic Party candidate Park Chan-dae has pledged to formulate a supplementary budget of W240 billion if elected as Incheon Mayor in the June 3 local elections. Park stated that the supplementary budget would be financed by minimizing the issuance of municipal bonds and utilizing increases in local income tax, among other sources.

Meanwhile, People Power Party candidate Yoo Jeong-bok has been dedicating his holiday to focusing on appointments for his election committee and accelerating organizational restructuring. Yoo Jeong-bok's camp announced the second round of election committee appointments on the 10th, including former Deputy Prime Minister for Education Hwang Woo-yea and former Democratic Party lawmaker Yoo Pil-woo, signaling a full-fledged launch of election preparations.

Yoo Jeong-bok's campaign office is scheduled to hold its opening ceremony at 2 p.m. on May 12th at the campaign office near Incheon Citizens' Park Station.
