Israel has warned that it could take action if Hamas fails to comply with the terms of a peace agreement. A peace plan presented by former U.S. President Donald Trump's team reportedly includes two options for Hamas to choose from: an 'easy path' and a 'hard path.' Michael Eizenberg, an advisor to the Israeli Prime Minister, pointed out in an interview with Fox News that Hamas is not surrendering weapons, a key condition of the peace agreement, such as the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.

He expressed hope that Hamas would choose the 'easy path' of surrendering weapons, but stated that if they do not, the 'hard path' would be unavoidable, implying further action by Israel. Eizenberg suggested that significant changes would be required for Hamas to comply with the peace plan. The core provisions of the peace plan reportedly include Hamas's participation in government and a prohibition on their armament.

Meanwhile, Yaakov Amidror, former National Security Advisor of Israel, reaffirmed Israel's firm stance on the possibility of Iran developing nuclear weapons, asserting the need for nuclear materials and enrichment facilities to be transferred outside Iranian territory. Iran's ballistic missile program was also identified as a major security concern for Israel.
